OPENING KICKOFF: The Snow College men's soccer team will begin a four-game road swing beginning with Pacific Northwest Christian College Thursday and Truckee Meadows Community College Saturday. The Badgers will take on the Gladiators at 3:30 P.M. and the Lizards at 1:30 p.m.
Snow College has dropped a pair of matches entering the weekend against No. 3 Salt Lake Community College and the College of Southern Nevada. The Badgers currently sit at 4-5-1 overall and 2-5-1 within the Scenic West Athletic Conference.
The Badgers currently sit in fifth place within the SWAC standings. They would need to finish within the top four to qualify for the Region 18 tournament at the end of the regular season.
KNOW YOUR FOE: Snow College defeated PNCC 6-0 in the two teams' first-ever meeting Sept. 16. The Gladiators are a new member of the SWAC joining in both men's and women's soccer beginning this season.
In their first meeting,
Nefthaly Loya scored each of the first three goals in the match as the Badgers took a 3-0 lead in the 76
th minute.

PNCC is 0-8 overall this season and 0-8 within SWAC play. As a team, the Gladiators have scored just four goals this season.
TMCC defeated the Badgers 1-0 in Ephraim Set. 14. It was a goal in the 36
th minute that was the Badger's downfall as they were shutout for just the second time all season.
The Lizards are currently 9-4-2 overall and 5-3-1 within SWAC play, which lands them in third place in the standings. The Badgers a 7-2 overall against the Lizards since 2019. They had won six consecutive matches against the Lizards before the 1-0 loss earlier this year.
LAST TIME OUT: The Snow College men's soccer team suffered a 4-1 defeat against the College of Southern Nevada Saturday in Ephraim. The team now stands at 4-5-1 overall and 2-5-1 within Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Snow College entered the weekend coming off a 3-1 loss to Salt Lake Community College. The Badgers welcomed the Coyotes to town Saturday. This was the second of two meetings between the two teams after Snow College was defeated by CSN 3-1 Sept. 9.
The Coyotes took a very early lead as they scored in the third minute of the match to take a 1-0 lead. Snow College would even the score in the 29
th minute on a goal from
Richard Henry.
CSN would strike again just a few minutes later and take a 2-1 lead, which it would hold onto heading into halftime.
Snow College was unable to recover and surrendered two more goals in the middle minutes of the second half. The Coyotes would hold on to the 4-1 victory.
The Badgers will now play each of their final four matches on the road beginning with Pacific Northwest Christian College Thursday at 3:30 p.m. They will then take on Truckee Meadows Community College Saturday in Reno, Nevada beginning at 1:30 p.m. For video streaming and live stat information, visit snowbadgers.com.

The Badgers were defeated 1-0 against the Eagles Sept. 21 in Ephraim. USUE is in second place in the SWAC standings at 7-2-1. Snow College defeated the Spartans 6-0 in Ephraim Sept. 23. The Badgers have never lost to CNCC winning 18 straight matches since 2016.
