Men's Soccer Thwarted by Coyotes

The Snow College men's soccer team suffered a 4-1 defeat against the College of Southern Nevada Saturday in Ephraim. The team now stands at 4-5-1 overall and 2-5-1 within Scenic West Athletic Conference play.

Snow College entered the weekend coming off a 3-1 loss to Salt Lake Community College.  The Badgers welcomed the Coyotes to town Saturday.  This was the second of two meetings between the two teams after Snow College was defeated by CSN 3-1 Sept. 9.

The Coyotes took a very early lead as they scored in the third minute of the match to take a 1-0 lead.  Snow College would even the score in the 29th minute on a goal from Richard Henry.

CSN would strike again just a few minutes later and take a 2-1 lead, which it would hold onto heading into halftime.

Snow College was unable to recover and surrendered two more goals in the middle minutes of the second half.  The Coyotes would hold on to the 4-1 victory.

The Badgers will now play each of their final four matches on the road beginning with Pacific Northwest Christian College Thursday at 3:30 p.m.  They will then take on Truckee Meadows Community College Saturday in Reno, Nevada beginning at 1:30 p.m.  For video streaming and live stat information, visit snowbadgers.com.
