Palmer will now fight for a spot on an Arizona Cardinals team that went 4-13 during the 2023 season and finished in fourth place in the NFC West.  Palmer was the second of two wide receivers selected by the Cardinals during the draft.  Arizona selected Ohio State University standout Marvin Harrison Jr. with the fourth overall pick.

Latu went undrafted but was signed as a free agent with the New Orleans Saints following the conclusion of the draft.  Latu spent the previous three seasons at Oklahoma State University.  He played in 31 games for the Cowboys where he recorded 46 tackles including seven sacks and forced fumble.  He played in all 14 games for OSU during his senior season where he recorded 31 tackles and three sacks for a team that went 10-4 overall and 7-2 in the Big 12.

Latu, a native of Salt Lake City, Utah, played in six games for the Badgers during the 2019 season.  He recorded 21 total tackles including 4.5 sacks and three forced fumbles for a team that went 5-3 overall.  He recorded six tackles and a sack while forcing two fumbles in the Badgers' 39-23 victory against ASA College of Miami Oct. 12, 2019.

The Saints, who finished the 2023 season with a 9-8 overall record and a second-place finish in the NFC South, agreed to terms with 16 undrafted free agents including one other defensive end and one defensive tackle.
