Isaac Stanley of the Snow College men's soccer team has been named the Scenic West Athletic Conference Player of the Week, the Conference announced Monday.
 
The award comes after Stanley helped the Badgers pick up two victories against Pacific Northwest Christian College and North Idaho College last weekend in Ephraim. With the two wins, the Badgers improve to 11-4 overall and 9-3 within SWAC play.
 
Between the two games, Stanley scored a total of three goals and provided two assists. He scored a goal and had an assist in the Badgers' 10-1 victory against PNWCC Thursday before recording two goals and an assist in a 5-2 win against NIC.
 
Throughout the season, Stanley has recorded six goals and nine assists for the team. He has scored or assisted in eight of the Badgers' 15 games this season. Over his last four games, he has recorded 17 points, including six goals and five assists.
 
Stanley, a freshman from Shrewsbury, England, is tied for third within the SWAC in total goals scored. His 21 total points scored are second in the conference and tied for 37^th in the nation.
 
Stanley will look to help the Badgers win their final two games of the regular season Thursday as Snow College hosts the College of Southern Idaho at 3:30 p.m. The Badgers will conclude the regular season against Truckee Meadows Community College Saturday at 1:30 p.m. For video streaming and live stats information, visit snowbadgers.com.
