Isaac Stanley of the Snow College men's soccer team has been named the Scenic West Athletic Conference Player of the Year, the Conference announced Monday.

Stanley received the award as an integral part of the men's soccer team that went 11-3 in conference play and won the SWAC championship for the first time in program history.

Stanley was just one of two Badgers to appear in all 19 games this season. He started in 15 matches on the Badgers' front line and played in 791 minutes during the year.

Stanley, a freshman from Shrewsbury, England, led the Badgers in goals, assists, and total points scored this season. He recorded eight goals and 12 assists for a total of 28 points. He scored two goals and two assists in a 5-2 victory against Colorado Northwestern Community College Oct. 9.

Stanley's 28 total points not only lead the conference but are tied for 21
st overall in the nation. He is also fourth in the nation with 12 assists. He recorded at least one assist in 10 of the 19 games he played in this season. He also recorded one game-winning goal during the year.

Stanley helped the Badgers clinch a spot in the Region 18 Title game for the second straight season after he recorded a pair of assists in the Badgers' 4-1 victory against Utah State University Eastern in the first round of the Region 18 Tournament.

Stanley was named the SWAC Player of the Week Oct. 20.
