The Snow College men's wrestling team competed in the Snow College Multi over the weekend, earning two victories against Trinidad State College and Otero Junior College. The Badgers are now 11-9 overall and hold a conference record of 2-1.
The Badgers entered the weekend coming off a 50-4 victory over Colorado Northwestern Community College, a 27-21 loss to Big Bend Community College, and two previous wins over Murray State (32-16) and Neosho Community College (36-16) at the NJCAA Coaches Association Duals.

Against CNCC last Wednesday, nine individuals picked up wins. Andrew Weakley stood out with a fall in just 57 seconds. Braden Bowman secured a fall at 2:27, Ryker Maestas won by fall at 6:09, and Alvaro Perez added a fall at 1:11. Josiah Wickard won by major decision, 13-1, while Kenneth Phillips earned a 19-9 major decision victory. Tony Passetti also won by major decision, 12-3.Â

Friday, the Badgers faced Northwest College and Trinidad State. Snow College fell to Northwest Community College, 39-4, with Wickard earning the lone win by major decision, 11-2.

The Badgers rebounded with a 37-16 victory over Trinidad State. Maestas recorded a 6-3 decision win, Wickard picked up a major decision victory at 14-4, and Weakley won by fall in 2:22.Â

Saturday, the Badgers took on Otero Junior College and secured a 48-6 victory. Johnson won by fall in 4:17, Phillips followed with a fall in 1:19, and Weakley added another fall in 1:34. Porter Wright won by fall in 3:40, Dagen Lamano recorded a fall in 2:49, and Maestas claimed a victory via technical fall, 15-0, in 2:17. Wickard won by decision, 18-2, while Rhyland Turner added a major decision victory, 16-4.
