The Snow College men's wrestling team competed over the weekend earning a victory over Northeastern Junior College, falling to Southeast Community College, and Northwest College. The Badgers now stand at 14–13 overall with a 2–1 conference record.
The Badgers entered the weekend coming off a 37–16 victory against Trinidad State College and a 48–6 win over Otero Junior College at the Snow College Multi.
Wednesday, Jan. 28th, Snow College suffered a 54–0 loss against Western Wyoming College.
At the Apodaca Showcase Duals in Wyoming over the weekend, the Badgers defeated Northeastern Junior College 26–21. Josiah Wickard secured a major decision victory, 17–7, while Tom Stoll recorded a major decision win, 14–2.
Andrew Weakley won via fall in 3:57, and Braden Bowman followed with a win via fall in 3:54. Ryker Maestas earned a technical fall, winning 21–2 at the five-minute mark. Billy Brenton won by technical fall, 23–6, in 6:47, and Kenneth Phillips recorded a technical fall victory, 18–3, in seven minutes.
Following the victory, the Badgers suffered a 46–6 loss against Southeast Community College. Weakley earned the team's lone win with a fall in 6:18.
Saturday, Snow College fell to Northwest College, 26–21. Weakley won via fall in 4:19. Bowman secured a 3–0 decision win, Dagen Lamano earned a 15–8 decision victory, and Wickard also recorded a decision win, 7–2. Ultimately, the Badgers fell short.
