McCaden Adams of the Snow College men's basketball team has been named to the NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball All-American First Team, which was announced Wednesday.
 
Adams receives the award after leading the Badgers to a 29-5 overall record and a 12-3 mark within Scenic West Athletic Conference play. He was an integral part of the Badgers securing a second consecutive berth into the NJCAA National Tournament and earning a 128-86 victory against Trinidad State College in the first round of the tournament.
 
Adams, a sophomore from Pleasant Grove, Utah, played in all but one game for the Badgers this season. Over his two seasons in orange and blue, he has played in 67 of a possible 68 games, including 51 starts. It's the second-most games played ever by a Badger – just one game behind teammate Aaron Bliss.
 
Adams led the SWAC in scoring during the 2025-26 season, averaging 18.4 points per game. He did so on 46 percent shooting from the field and 40 percent from beyond the arc. He also grabbed 4.7 rebounds and dished 3.2 assists per game throughout the year.
 
For his career at Snow College, Adams has scored in double figures in 53 games, including 31 such games during the 2025-26 regular season. He also recorded 15 games with 20 or more points and three with 30 or more this year.
 
Adams scored 30 points in the Badgers' victory against Trinidad State in the first round of the NJCAA National Tournament. He did so on 10-13 shooting and 7-9 from beyond the arc. He followed that up with 26 points in their second-round loss to Butler Community College.
 
Adams finishes his career in a Badger uniform with 997 total points, which is sixth all-time on the Snow College scoring list. He is also tied for sixth in career points per game at 18.4.
 
This is the second consecutive season a member of the Snow College men's basketball team has appeared on the NJCAA All-American teams after Isaac Finlinson was named the National Player of the Year last season.
 
The Badgers, who have been ranked No. 1 in the NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Rankings in each of the last two seasons, will return to action next fall. For additional information on the men's basketball team, visit snowbadgers.com.
