Box Score 4 EPHRAIM – The Snow College Lady Badgers got one win in a four-game series played this past weekend against the 13th ranked Golden Eagles of the College of Southern Idaho (CSI). The Golden Eagles took both ends of Friday's doubleheader, 12-4 and 5-3, and the teams traded shutouts on Saturday with Snow winning the opener, 8-0, before dropping the series finale, 10-0.

Riley Cox got Saturday's shutout win for Snow, spreading five singles and striking out two. She was helped by a pair of double plays turned by the Badger infield. Shortstop
Cassidy Anderson went 3-for-4 at the plate and scored twice in the win.
Karlee Manzione was 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and drove in four runs. Freshman
Emily Adams had a pinch hit triple that drove in two runs.Â
Anderson and Manzione each finished the series with five hits for the Badgers.
BritLee Anderson, Kayla Larsen and
Kenzie Rasmussen each had four hits in the series for Snow. CSI's Abby Toller went crazy in the final game of the series on Saturday, hitting homeruns to right, left and center in three at-bats while driving in seven runs as the Eagles shut out Snow, 10-0.
Following four errors in Friday's opener, the Badgers committed only one more error in the rest of the series and turned four double plays.
The Badgers had a chance to take Friday's second game, but could not come up with a hit when they needed it. Down 5-3 in the bottom of the seventh, Larson singled, Rasmussen doubled and Manzione reached on an error to load the bases with no outs. But with a pop up and a pair of strike outs, Snow was not able to finish the comeback.Â
After opening with series against the top three teams in the Scenic West Athletic Conference, the Badgers are 2-10. They won games against No. 18 ranked Salt Lake Community College and 13th ranked CSI, and were swept by the College of Southern Nevada. The Badgers will travel to Carson City, Nev., for doubleheaders this Friday and Saturday against Western Nevada College.
