Box Score SALT LAKE CITY (January 21, 2017) -- No. 21 Snow College fell to 22nd ranked Salt Lake Community College on Saturday, 87-79.  The loss marked the first in conference play for the Badgers, and moved the team in to a tie with SLCC for first place in the Scenic West Athletic Conference standings.

The Bruins got out to a quick start against the conference leading Badgers, outscoring them 17-7 within the first three minutes of the game. The Badgers battled back and made a 13-5 run to tie the game with four and a half minutes to go in the first half. The Bruins hit a three-pointer with 10 seconds to go, heading into halftime with a nine-point lead.

Despite outscoring SLCC, 50-49, in the second half, the Badgers were not able to overcome the Bruins' lead. Zach Hunsaker and Riley Panter both had 18-points to lead the Badgers in scoring.

Snow College will next take on Utah State-Eastern in Price, Utah on January 26, 2017 at 7:30p.m.
