Box Score ROCK SPRINGS, Wyoming (Nov. 4, 2017) -- The Snow College men's basketball team started the season off with a pair of victories in Rock Springs, Wyo, over the weekend. The Badgers edged Northwest College, 95-91, in overtime to win their first game of the season. On Saturday, Snow upended Western Wyoming, 91-83, to improve to 2-0.
Against Northwest College, six Badgers posted double-digits, led by freshman
Jake Walker who was credited with a game-high 22 points.
Stockton Shorts and
Logan Hokanson were each credited with 15 points, followed by
Truman Moore and
Romain Boxus who had 14 each.
Jayden Coke had 10 points in the victory.
Against Western Wyoming, Hokanson led all scorers with 25 points, followed by Walker who chipped in another 22 points for the Badgers. Shorts was credited with 13 points in the eight-point victory. Coke came off the bench to pick up a game-high eight rebounds.
Snow will travel to Portland, Ore., next week, taking on Chemeketa on Friday, Nov. 17 and Portland on Saturday, Nov. 18.
