Box Score EPHRAIM, Utah (April 15, 2017) — The Snow College softball team struggled against the College of Southern Idaho on Saturday. The Lady Badgers lost both games to the Lady Golden Eagles 11-2 and 10-0.
Snow College was able to score early as the Badgers put two runs on the board in the bottom of the first inning. Torri Bills singled to center field to score McCall Stoddard and Alyssa Arslanian hit a sacrifice fly to left field to score Bills to put the Lady Badgers up 2-1. Snow College wasn't able to put together enough hits to score any more runners throughout the remainder of the game as they fell short of CSI 11-2 on Saturday morning. Stoddard lead the team with 3-hits while Bills and Arslanian lead the Lady Badgers with 1-RBI a piece.
The Lady Badgers struggled to get the bats rolling against the Lady Golden Eagles in game two as only two Badgers were able to reach base off of a hit. Snow College gave up eight runs in the first four innings of the game, and were shut out for the second time in four games against CSI. The Lady Golden Eagles finished the sweep with a 10-0 win against Snow College on Saturday afternoon. Kylie Jeffs and Bills lead the team with 1-hit each.
Snow College will travel to Salt Lake City to face Salt Lake Community College on April 21, 2017 at 1p.m.
