HENDERSON, Nevada (April 7, 2017) — The Snow College softball team failed to score any runs in game one against Southern Nevada as they fell to the Coyotes 4-0.  The Badgers also lost in a heartbreaker in game two as the Coyotes won 6-5.

Snow College was shut out in game one of a four game series against the Coyotes 4-0. The Badgers threatened with the bases loaded in the third inning and the seventh inning but weren't able to put anything together to help any of the runners cross home plate. Snow College left five runners in scoring position throughout the game.  Carley Guymon lead the team with a 3-hit complete game with one earned run.  

The Badgers tacked on five runs in game two on Friday but came up short against Southern Nevada as the Coyotes hit a walk-off single to finish the game. Sarah Sandberg singled in the top of the first to score McCall Stoddard and Madison Parrish singled to bring in Kylie Jeffs to put Snow College ahead 2-0. After the Coyotes took the lead in the third and added to their lead in the fourth, the Badgers responded  with an Alyssa Arslanian home run and an RBI sacrifice fly by Whitney Perkins to tie the game at 5.  Unfortunately, Snow College wasn't able to add any more runs as the Coyotes scored one final run in the bottom of the seventh inning to beat Snow College 6-5. Four Badgers tied with two hits and Arslanian lead the team with two RBI's.

Snow College will face College of Southern Nevada again on April 8, 2017 at 12p.m in Henderson, Nevada.
