Box Score EPHRAIM, Utah (Sept. 28, 2017) – The ninth-ranked Snow College women's volleyball team improved to 17-3 on the season with a decisive, 3-0, victory over Colorado Northwestern on Thursday. Snow dismantled CNCC, 25-16, 25-12, 25-16, in the Badgers' first home game of the season. All totaled, Snow has won 13 of its 17 matches in three-straight sets.

"After a tough five-game loss to the second-ranked team in the country last weekend, it was nice to come home for the first time this season, play in front of an awesome crowd, and get a nice conference win," Snow College head coach Jeff Reynolds said. "We've seen CNCC play a few times this season at various tournaments we've played in, and we knew they had some nice players – definitely not an opponent we could overlook."

The Badgers used disciplined defense and a balanced offensive attack to neutralize the Spartans. Freshman right side
Stacey Hone led the Badgers with a match-high nine kills, followed by middle blocker
Kelsie Evans with eight kills. Sophomores
Riley Lyman and
Thea Leiataua were credited with seven and six kills, respectively. Lyman picked up a team-best 13 digs, followed by freshman libero
Brielle Fowler who had 11 digs. Snow out-blocked the Spartans, 10-3, led by Evans and
Rebecca Bigler who each had four blocks.

Snow College will return to action on Saturday as the Badgers take on 19
th ranked Utah State-Eastern. The Eagles enter the match coming off a five-game, road win at Southern Nevada on Thursday. USU-E is 15-3 on the season and has a 2-0 league record. Match time is set for 1 p.m. in Ephraim.
