Box Score PRICE, Utah (March 1, 2019) -- The Snow College Badgers connected on 14-of-15 free throws in the second half to take a 73-62 victory over Utah State Eastern in the semi-final round of the Scenic West Athletic Conference Tournament on Friday night. With the win, the Badgers (25-6) will advance to the championship game against Southern Idaho on Saturday, beginning at 7:30 p.m. (MT).

"It was huge for us to get to the line in the second half," said Snow College head coach and Region 18 Coach of the Year Rob Nielson. "To hit 93 percent in the second half was big. Utah State Eastern is a tough team. They don't ever give up, but you know, it's tournament time. It's nerve-racking and intense. We're pleased with the win and now we'll get back to the hotel, get some rest, and get ready for Southern Idaho tomorrow." 

Sophomore guard Jake Walker led the Badgers with a game-high 20 points on 5-of-11 shooting from the field, including 4-of-8 from three-point range. Redshirt freshman Truman Moore picked up a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds in the win.
