Box Score EPHRAIM, Utah (March 19, 2021) – Coming off a three-set victory over Southern Nevada on Thursday evening, the third-ranked Snow College women's volleyball team knew just what was in store as the same two teams went head-to-head in Scenic West Conference action today. Behind a balanced offensive attack and a gritty defensive performance, the Badgers racked up their second straight 3-0 victory over Southern Nevada, 25-16, 25-19, 25-15.
Â
"We don't normally play the same team on back-to-back days," Snow College head coach Jeff Reynolds said. "Playing them last night obviously gave us a pretty good idea of what we could expect today. We made a couple adjustments and set out to improve on our performance from last night. Overall, I think we accomplished what we were after here today. I'm just really happy for our sophomores who ended up undefeated at home during their time here at Snow."
Â
With today's win, the Badgers have recorded 16 straight home victories, dating back to Oct. 18, 2018. The win also marks the second straight season Snow has gone undefeated at home. Interestingly, over the past three seasons, the Badgers have won 21 out of 22 matches in the Horne Activity Center.
Â
"You can't underestimate home court advantage in our conference," Reynolds said. "There are a couple places that are typically pretty tough to play for visiting teams, and fortunately for us, the AC is one of those places. We have a great fan support here, and our student section is one of the best."
