The Badgers are coming off a 109-64 victory against Western Wyoming Community College last Friday in Price.  Snow College shot a season-high 67 percent from the field to earn their seventh victory of the season.

Snow College is one of the best shooting teams in the nation.  The Badgers are second overall in Division I in field goal percentage at 57.2 percent, just shy of Western Oklahoma State College at 59.4.  They are also 8th in the nation in 3-point percentage at 42.7 percent.

The Badgers are amongst the top 25 teams in the country in assists.  They rank 25th overall with an average of 20.1 assists per game.  The Badgers have recorded 20 or more assists in four of their seven games including tallying 30 assists in their 94-70 victory against Arizona Western College Nov. 8.

The Badgers have started the season winning each of their first seven games for the third consecutive season.  Snow College is 30-4 overall against non-conference opponents since head coach Andrew May took over in 2022.

Odessa is currently ranked ninth in the NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Poll.  As a team, the Wranglers are 6-1 overall and have won five straight. The Badgers are 3-8 against ranked teams under May.

NMMI owns a 1-4 overall record to start the season with the lone win coming against South Mountain Community College last Friday.  The Broncos score just 66.2 points per game and are being outscored by an average of nearly 8 points per game.

LAST TIME OUT: The Snow College men's basketball team improved to 7-0 after picking up a 109-64 victory against Western Wyoming Community College.  With the win, the Badgers have now climbed into the top five in the NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Poll.

Snow College entered the standalone game off the heels of a four-game Arizona road trip.  The Badgers defeated Central Arizona College (94-75), Arizona Western College (94-70), Eastern Arizona College (79-60), and Yavapai College (80-64).

The Badgers came out torching the nets in the first half.  They opened scoring 14 of the first 20 points of the game to take the early lead.  The Badgers offense then exploded and went on a 21-1 run.  The first 17 points of the run were all scored by Isaac Finlinson.

Back-to-back jumpers from McCaden Adams and Sean Felts capped a 9-1 burst to give the Badgers a 46-16 lead with just under 6 minutes left in the first half.  A jumper from Isaac Garrett on the Badgers' final possession of the half made the score 53-26 heading into the halftime break.

The Badgers shot 70 percent(21-30) from the field and 56 percent(5-9) from beyond the arc in the first 20 minutes.  Snow College's defense also forced 10 turnovers and made all six of their free-throw attempts.

The second half started similar to the game as Kyle Lemke hit a pair of jumpers, and Chance Trujillo buried a triple to conclude a quick 7-0 run.  The Badgers would extend the lead out to as many as 47 before capturing the 109-64 victory.

As a team, the Badgers shot 67 percent from the field and 46 percent from deep throughout the game.  Through the first seven games of the season, Snow College is shooting at a 57 percent clip and connecting on 43 percent of their 3-point attempts.

Six Badgers scored in double figures, led by Finlinson, who scored 18 points and grabbed six rebounds.  Trujillo added 17 points on 6-8/5-6 shooting.  Lemke scored 16 points, while Mark Brown Jr. added 15 points and eight assists.  Isaac Garrett tallied 15 points, and Adams chipped in 13 points and seven rebounds to aid in the victory.
