Lala Baldwin of the Snow College women's basketball team has been named the Scenic West Athletic Conference Player of the Week, the Conference announced Monday.

Baldwin claims the award for the first time this season after she helped the Badgers claim two victories at the Eagle Classic in Price over the weekend. The Badgers defeated Central Wyoming College 69-54 before earning an 81-47 win against Eastern Wyoming College to improve to 6-1 to start the 2025-26 campaign.

During the tournament, Baldwin averaged 17.0 points per game while going a combined 12-17 from the field and 6-9 from beyond the arc. After scoring nine points and grabbing three rebounds against the Rustlers, Baldwin scored 25 points, had three rebounds, and dished seven assists in the Badgers' win against the Lancers.

Baldwin has played in all seven games for the Badgers this season, including five starts. She leads the Badgers in scoring at 11.4 points per game. She also leads qualifiers in 3-point percentage, shooting 46 percent from deep this year.

Snow College will head to Midland, Texas, to participate in the Women's National Invitational Tournament hosted by Midland College. The Badgers will take on Midland Thursday at 6:00 p.m. before a meeting with No. 11 South Plains College Friday at 3:00 p.m.
