The Rustlers came into the second half with renewed vigor as they went on a 12-2 run to cut the deficit to two. The Badgers would respond with their own 15-2 run to close out the quarter up 50-35.

CWC would open the final quarter of the game on a 9-2 run to cut the lead to nine points. The Badgers would build up their lead back to 15 and maintain the advantage for the rest of the fourth period, defeating CWC, 69-54.

The Badgers and Lancers were tied up early in the first five minutes of the game at eight points apiece, but the Badgers were able to spark a 10-0 run to close the first quarter. They kept their foot on the gas and outscored EWC 26-10 in the second period to take a 44-18 lead at half.
