Box Score 2 EPHRAIM — The Snow College Lady Badgers extended their record to 5-0 with wins over Gillette College and Northwest College this weekend in Gillette, Wyo. The Badgers downed the Gillette Pronghorns (Wyo.), 70-53, on Friday, and followed that with a 62-54 win over the Trappers of Northwest College (Powell, Wyo.) on Saturday.
Snow bolted to a 35-18 halftime lead against Gillette on Friday, and then played even in the second half to take a 70-53 win over the 4-4 Pronghorns.
Kaitlyn Hurley led then Badgers with 11 points, while three Badgers --
Whitney Saunders,
Jilian Powell and
Abigail Barnard -- all scored nine.

Matysen Evensen grabbed a season-high 14 rebounds to lead all players. Savannah Park scored eight and had four steals for Snow. Gillette's Kallee Wilson led all scorers with 13 points.Â
On Saturday Snow again rode a strong first half performance to beat Northwest College, 62-54. The Badgers took a 35-20 lead into the locker room, but let Northwest outscore them 34-27 after the break.Â
Hurley had a big game for Snow scoring 24 points with Saunders also in double figures with 14. Saunders and
Madison Smith led Snow with five rebounds apiece.
Snow recorded 23 steals as a team to only 12 for Northwest.
Ashton Henderson led the way with six steals while Smith added four and Saunders, Powell, Hurley and Park each had three.
The Badgers get out of the cold this week, heading south to Arizona for a trio of games. They will play at Chandler-Gilbert Community College on Wednesday, and then play in the Thanksgiving Classic tournament at Glendale Community College on Friday and Saturday. The Badgers will take on Phoenix College on Friday and then play the host team, Glendale Gauchos, on Saturday.
