Box Score RANGELY, Colo. (January 10, 2017) -- The Snow College women's basketball team picked up a 31-point victory over Colorado Northwestern Community College on Tuesday, ending a five-game losing streak. With the victory, the Lady Badgers improve to 6-8 on the season and 1-2 in league play.

"This wasn't a 'must win,' but our players understood the importance of picking one up tonight," head coach Mike Russell said. "We're very pleased with our players' overall effort tonight and were seeing noticeable improvement each game. We're pleased with what we saw tonight. Everyone contributed."

Four different players scored in double digits for the Badgers, including Harley Hansen who led the team with 22 points. Madison Mooring chipped in 15 points, while Lindsay Cook added 11 and Shaylee Reed was credited with 10 points. Tayvia Ah'Quin led the Badgers with a game high 10 rebounds.

Snow College will take on Utah State University-Eastern on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at the Horne Activities Center in Ephraim.
