Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Feb. 18, 2017) -- Perhaps Saturday was not a good day for the Snow College women's basketball team to meet up with No. 4 Salt Lake. The Lady Bruins entered the game coming off a 57-59 loss to Utah State-Eastern on Thursday, ending the team's 16-game win streak. On Saturday, the Lady Bruins showed little mercy as the led from the opening tip to the final buzzer, defeating Snow, 65-48. The loss drops the Lady Badgers to 11-14 on the season with a mark of 6-8 in league play. Salt Lake improves to 25-3 on the season, including a league best record of 13-1 against Scenic West opponents.
 
Madison Mooring led the Lady Badgers with 10 points, while Kayla Hugie added eight points. Jazmin Chavez was credited with seven rebounds.
 
Snow will return to the friendly confines of the Horne Athletic Center on Thursday, Feb. 23 against Utah State-Eastern. The game will mark the last home game for the Lady Badgers this season. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m.
