RANGELY, Colorado (February 25, 2017) — The Snow College women's basketball team won their final regular season game of the year against Colorado Northwestern 71-60 on Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Badgers and Lady Spartans kept things close throughout the first half as the largest lead of the game was 8-points in favor of the Badgers. Snow College had 6 steals in the first half as strong defense helped keep the game close for both teams as the Badgers went into halftime down by 2.         

The Lady Badgers came back in the second half as they were leading by as many as 15 at one point.  With just over 45 seconds left to play, Harley Hansen stole the ball and passed it down in the middle of the paint to Tavia AhQuin who layed the ball in to put Snow College in the lead by 11 and seal the win for the Badgers.  

The Lady Badgers will travel to Salt Lake City, Utah to take on College of Southern Idaho in the SWAC tournament on March 3, 2017 at 12pm.
