EPHRAIM, Utah (January 13, 2018) – Despite holding a three-point lead at halftime, the Snow College women's basketball team was outscored 41-28 in the second half to drop its Scenic West home-opener to seventh-ranked Salt Lake C.C. on Saturday. The Lady Bruins recorded the 62-52 victory and improved to 16-4/2-1 on the season, while the Lady Badgers fell to 14-6/1-1.

Salt Lake held three-time SWAC Player of the Week Harley Hansen to just nine points and three rebounds on the night, while Jazmin Chavez picked up the slack for the Lady Badgers, racking up 10 points and 13 rebounds. Kayla Hugie added 10 points for Snow. Tia Hay led the way for the Lady Bruins with a game-high 28 points.

The Lady Badgers will prepare now to host Utah State Eastern on Thursday, January 18. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m. at the Horne Activity Center in Ephraim.
