The Snow College Lady Badgers played one of their best games of the year, but came up just short in a one-point loss to conference leading Salt Lake Community College 54-53.

After trailing 29-22 at the half the Badgers opus-scored the Bruins in the third and fourth quarters and had a shot to win it at the buzzer.

"We played well all four quarters," said Head Coach Zu Grinsell. "We have had many games this year where we have one quarter that we struggle, but we played really well all four quarters and I think that's what gave us a chance to win."

Snow  College was led by Ashlee Edwards with 11 points and eight rebounds. Kenedy Eskelson finished with ten points on 5-6 shooting from the field.

In a game that saw the lead change four times and two ties it was inevitable to come down to the last shot. Unfortunately the Badgers had the last shot, but it didn't fall.

Snow College will be at home again on January 8 against Community Christian College the newest member of the Scenic West Athletic Conference.
