LADY BADGERS DEFEAT SOUTHERN NEVADA IN SCHOOL'S FIRST-EVER GAME

EPHRAIM, Utah (February 9, 2020) -- The Snow College women's basketball team collected an 81-44 victory over Southern Nevada onTuesday in the conference, season-opener for both teams. The game also marked the first-ever game for Southern Nevada. 

The Lady Badgers jumped out to a 44-25 lead at the break; however, the Lady Coyotes cut in to that lead and trailed 62-40 at the end of the third quarter. The Snow College defense got a little stingy in the final quarter, holding CSN to just four points. 

Freshman Japrix Weaver led the Lady Badgers with a double-double performance, posting a team-high 24 points and 11 rebounds. Ashlee Edwards, a freshman from Grantsville, Utah, added 20 points, while sophomore Reagan Anderson was credited with 11 rebounds. 

Snow College will next take to the road, playing at Utah State Eastern on February 11 and at Colorado Northwestern on Feb. 13. Game times are set for 5 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively.
