ABOUT LARAMIE COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE

  • LCCC enters the weekend matchups with an overall record of 4-2 overall and 0-2 within conference play.  The Golden Eagles started the season with three straight wins over Trinidad State College (78-73), McCook Community College (59-46), and North Platte Community College (61-52).  They also defeated Concordia University-Ann Arbor (93-67).

  •  Their offense is led by two players that average double figures.  Michala Bork leads the team at 15.0 points per game followed closely by Halle Hester at 14.2 points per game.

KEYS TO THE GAME

  • Share the ball:  Both the Badger's wins this season have come when they have assisted on more than 60 percent of their made field goals.  They have lost both games in which they have assisted on less than 60 percent of their made field goals.

  • No easy Baskets:  When playing a team that struggles to score as much as Yavapai does, it's important to not allow easy points and let them get in a rhythm offensively.  Aggressive defense will allow the Badgers to force turnovers and create fast break points offensively.

NEXT UP

  • The Badgers will head to Casper Wyoming to participate in the Vista Auto Thanksgiving Classic where they will have a rematch with Casper College, to whom they lost 79-64 Nov. 5 in Ephraim.  Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.

  • Casper is 4-0 on the season and is currently ranked 10th in the most recent NJCAA Division I Women's Basketball Rankings.

  • Snow College will also face Western Wyoming Community College beginning at 12:00 noon. The Mustangs are currently 2-4 overall on the season.  For additional information, visit snowbadgers.com.
