• The Snow College women's basketball team will return home for the first time in over a month as it takes on No. 10 Salt Lake Community College.

• The Badgers will take on the Bruins inside the Horne Activity Center with tipoff scheduled for 5:00 p.m.

• Snow College is coming off back-to-back wins for the first time this season.  After defeating Western Wyoming Community College 68-67 in overtime last weekend, the Badgers defeated the College of Southern Nevada twice in Las Vegas.  Snow College won 65-60 Friday followed by a thrilling 51-49 victory Saturday to extend its winning streak to three games.

• The Badgers trailed 57-56 with 50 seconds to go in Friday's game but were able to rattle off nine of the final 12 points to secure the victory.  This marks the second time this season the Badgers have been trailing by three or fewer with under a minute to go and won the game.

• Enid Vaifanua gave the Badgers the lead late in Saturday's game.  After being fouled, she made one of two free throws giving Snow College a 50-49 lead with 50 seconds to go.  Snow College forced two missed layups and a turnover in the final minute to secure the victory.

• The Badgers shot just 1-10 from 3-point range in their 51-49 victory over CSN Saturday.  This is the Badger's second worst 3-point performance of the season.  Snow College failed to make a 3-pointer in 15 attempts in their 56-50 loss to Laramie County Community College Nov. 19.Â

• Snow College has struggled from the field this season and is connecting on just 37.5 percent of field goal attempts this season.  This mark slots them just outside the top 100 in the nation.

• The Badgers are the 30th-best team in the country at opponent's 3-point field goal percentage.  Snow College allows opponents to connect on just 24.1 percent of shots from distance this season.Â

• The Saints are near the bottom in the nation in scoring.  They are averaging just 45 points per game which is 162nd out of 165 teams in the country.

• Community Christian is next to last in the nation in field goal percentage connecting on just 23.6 percent of attempts this season.  The Saints are also at the bottom of the list in 3-point percentage making just 11 percent from distance.

• The Saints are coming off a 2021-22 season that saw them go 0-29 overall and 0-17 within Scenic West Athletic Conference play.  They are coming off back-to-back losses against the College of Southern Idaho. Â

• Snow College is 3-0 all time against the Saints.  The Badgers average 76.3 points per game against the Saints and scored a series-high 95 points in a victory Jan. 8, 2022.

The Snow College women's basketball team suffered an 86-66 defeat at the hands of the No. 10 ranked Salt Lake Community College Bruins Wednesday in Ephraim.

The Badgers entered Wednesday's matchup having won three consecutive games including two victories over the College of Southern Nevada last weekend to begin Scenic West Athletic Conference play.

Snow College was only outscored by a total of three points in the first, third and fourth quarters combined.  It was a rough second quarter that would be the Badger's downfall.  The Badgers were outscored 56-53 in the first, third and fourth while being outscored 30-13 in the second quarter.

Snow College jumped out to an 11-9 lead early in the first quarter but would go into the second quarter tied at 13.  The Bruins gained a four-point lead within the first few minutes of the second before going on a 19-3 run over a five-minute stretch to take a 20-point lead.  The Bruins would eventually lead 43-26 at the halftime break.

The Badgers would not be able to cut into the lead beyond 14 points in the third quarter.  They would trail by as much as 23 en route to the 86-66 defeat.

Three Badgers finished in double figures led by Samiana Suguturaga who scored 13 points on 4-6 shooting.  Marika Collins put in 12 points and grabbed six rebounds while Grayce Glover tallied 10 points and four rebounds in the loss.

• Snow College will head to Price to take on Utah State University Eastern Wednesday, Dec. 14.
