Women's Basketball Beats USU-E

The Lady Badgers picked up two more big wins in the Scenic West Athletic Conference and moved into second place behind undefeated College of Southern Idaho. Snow College knocked off USU-E 59-50 and then battered the Coyotes of the College of Southern Nevada 89-49.

The Eagles of USU-E beat the Badgers early in the season, But Snow College has come back to win the last two meeting between these two teams and holds the tie breaker should they finish in a tie. Ashlee Edwards led the Badgers with 20 points and five rebounds. Jenna Czarnecki came off the bench to add ten points and Sarah Lange led the team with six rebounds to go with her six points off the bench.

"Ashlee had a great offensive game for us," said Head Coach Zu Grinsell. "She shot really well and the bench had all kinds of great energy."

The Badger defense held the Eagles to 31% shooting from the field for the game and caused 17 turnovers that accounted for 17 points in the Badger win.
