Lady Badgers Stay at #2

Box Score

The Lady Badgers went on the road to Colorado to face the Lady Spartans and their defense proved to be the biggest factor in a 65-30 win that keeps the Badgers in second place of the Scenic West Athletic Conference.

"Our goal was to finish the game strong defensively," said Head Coach Zu Grinsell. "We lacked a good defensive finish last week, but did a great job tonight."

The Badgers held CNCC to just none second half points en route to the win on the road.

Kennedy Eskelson had a breakout offensive performance leading the Badgers with 14 points and five assists. Passion Reitz and Samiana Suguturaga each added eight points and Suguturaga lead Snow College with eight rebounds.

"Eskelson had a great game all around. She shot well from the floor and played great defense on CNCC's impact players," said Grinsell. "Reitz did a little bit of everything for us, and brought a ton of energy to the game."

Snow College still has four more road games before ending the season and then playing in the Region XVIII Tournament in Salt Lake City.
