Close Loss to CSI

Box Score

Snow College took their game on the road for the first of six in a row and dropped a game to the number one team in the conference, the College of Southern Idaho, in a low scoring loss 44-35.

"I thought we played well in the first half," said Head Coach Zu Grinsell. "But we had a rough second half and ran out of gas defensively in the fourth quarter."

Passion Reitz carried the team with 14 points and eight rebounds, but it wasn't enough to overcome the poor shooting of the team who managed under 24% for the game and just over 57 percent from the free throw line.

"Our defense was probably the best it's ever been in the first 3 quarters," said Grinsell. "We continue to improve defensively, and that's what we need to keep doing. We just went cold offensively at the start of the second half and it caught up with us at the end."

The Lady Badgers are currently in a tie for second place in the Scenic West Athletic Conference with Utah State University - Eastern and hold the tie breaker with them. Snow College will continue their road trip to Rangely, Colorado to take on the Spartans on Thursday and then to Salt Lake Community College on Saturday.
