- The Snow College women's basketball team will take on the College of Southern Nevada Thursday in Ephraim.  Tipoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. inside the Horne Activity Center.  For video streaming and live stat information, visit snowbadgers.com.

- Thursday's matchup will mark the final of three matchups between the Badgers and the Coyotes this season.  Snow College earned two victories over CSN earlier in the year including a 65-60 victory Dec. 2 followed by a 51-49 victory Dec. 3.

- Snow College is coming off a 65-59 defeat at the hands of No. 7 College of Southern Idaho last Thursday.  The Badgers lost despite outscoring the Golden Eagles in the first, third, and fourth quarters.  They were outscored 25-7 in the second quarter.Â

- Sophomore Forward Samiana Suguturaga led the Badgers in scoring against CSI for the 10th time this season while also recording her second double-double of the year finishing with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Â

- The Coyotes are 6-8 overall this season and are 1-4 within the Scenic West Athletic Conference which lands them fifth in the standings.Â

- The Coyotes are currently averaging 58.6 points per game and have a -1.7-point differential.

- CSN is one of the better rebounding teams in the nation as the Coyotes are grabbing 42.6 rebounds per game which is good for 31st in the country.

- The Bruins defeated Snow College 86-66 Dec. 7 in Ephraim.

- SLCC is 15-3 overall this season and 5-2 within SWAC play.  The Bruins are coming off back-to-back wins against Community Christian College.  They will take on Utah State University Eastern, whom they lost 63-59 to Dec. 10, Saturday.

The Snow College women's basketball team suffered a tough 65-59 defeat against the No. 7 College of Southern Idaho Thursday in Twin Falls. Â

Snow College came into the matchup having had a nearly three-week hiatus since its last game.  The Badgers were originally scheduled to play a trio of opponents at the Lady Jets Holiday Classic in Americus, Georgia including No. 4 South Georgia Tech, No. 1 Eastern Florida, and Georgia Highlands, but those games were canceled.

Snow College was victorious in its most recent game against Colorado Northwestern Community College.  The Badgers defeated the Spartans 75-52 Dec. 16 in Ephraim.

It was a quick start for the Badgers that saw them jump out to a 12-5 lead in the first quarter.  They would eventually extend the lead out to as many as eight points before the Golden Eagles went on a massive run to take control.  CSI went on an extended 29-5 run that saw it take a 16-point lead.  The Golden Eagles would eventually take a 42-28 lead into the halftime break.

Snow College trailed by as many as 17 points in the third quarter but used a 10-0 run to get back within seven.  The Badgers outscored the Golden Eagles in the third quarter and went into the fourth quarter trailing 54-44.

The Badgers cut the lead to six points within the first two and a half minutes of the fourth quarter.  CSI extended the lead back to 12 points over the next few minutes and led 61-49 with five minutes to play.  Snow College's comeback attempt came up just short as it rallied to get within six points but eventually lost 65-59.

The Badgers outscored the Golden Eagles in the first, third and fourth quarters, but they were outscored 25-7 in the second quarter which proved to be their downfall.  Snow College shot a better field goal percentage and 3-point percentage than the Golden Eagles but turned the ball over 16 times to the Golden Eagles' 10. Â

Samiana Suguturaga led the Badgers in scoring for the 10
th time this season while also recording her second double-double of the year finishing with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Â
Marika Collins was the other Badger in double figures with 10 points, five rebounds, and three assists.
