- The Snow College women's basketball team will finalize its home slate of games with a pair of matchups against North Idaho College Thursday and the No. 15 College of Southern Idaho Saturday.  Tipoff against NIC will be at 5:00 p.m. with Saturday's game scheduled for 1:00 p.m. inside the Horne Activity Center.

- Saturday's matchup with the Golden Eagles will serve as sophomore night for the Badgers as they will recognize the five two-year players who will be departing the program at season's end.

- The Badgers are coming off an 82-57 defeat against No. 24 Utah State University Eastern.  This marks the second consecutive year that the Badgers have failed to earn a victory against the Eagles during the course of a season.

- Snow College owns a 3-4 record at home this season.  Their last home victory came in a 121-38 victory against Community Christian College Jan. 20.  The Badgers have lost seven of nine overall since starting the season with a 10-3 record.

- The Badgers defeated the Cardinals 78-70 to begin Scenic West Athletic Conference play Jan. 10.  In that game, Madison Hosino recorded 21 points and grabbed four rebounds while Emily Evans recorded a 19-point, 10-rebound double-double.

- Snow College had one of its best shooting performances of the season against the Cardinals.  The Badger's 48 percent from the field is their fifth-best percentage from the field in a game this season.

- The Badgers will look for revenge against the Golden Eagles as CSI handed them their worst loss of the season Jan. 13.  CSI earned a 91-49 victory in Twin Falls the last time these two teams met.

- The Badgers are 4-12 historically against the Cardinals but have won two of their last three meetings. Snow College is 13-34 all-time against the Golden Eagles.  The Badgers have lost 12 consecutive matches to the No. 15 team from the Gem State.

LAST TIME OUT: The Snow College women's basketball team suffered an 82-57 loss against Utah State University Eastern Saturday in Price.  With the loss, the Badgers drop to 12-9 overall and 2-5 within Scenic West Athletic Conference play.

The Badgers came into the weekend matchup with the Eagles following a pair of losses – one of which to USUE.  They suffered an 80-62 loss against No. 23 Salt Lake Community College Feb. 1 in Ephraim.

The Eagles used a 12-2 burst to open the game and had a double-digit lead four minutes into the action.  The Badgers trimmed the lead to six points before an 11-0 run gave USUE a 23-6 lead.  USUE maintained the momentum and built a 20-point lead before taking a 44-30 advantage into the halftime break.

The Badgers were never able to trim into the lead and found themselves trailing 64-34 following a 17-2 extended Eagles' run to begin the third quarter.  The deficit would prove to be insurmountable as the Eagles earned the 82-57 victory.

Maliyah Elliot led the Badgers offensively with 14 points.  She also grabbed five rebounds. Â
Ainsley Thurber was the only other Badger in double figures with 10 points.  As a team, the Badgers shot 38 percent from the field and 25 percent from beyond the arc.

Snow College will now return home for its final homestand of the season.  The Badgers will host a pair of opponents to cap off its home schedule beginning with North Idaho College Thursday.  Tipoff is slated for 5:00 p.m. inside the Horne Activity Center in Ephraim.  For video streaming and live stat information, visit snowbadgers.com.

UP NEXT:  The Badgers will head out onto the road for its final games of the regular season where they will take on the College of Southern Idaho Thursday, Feb. 22 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The Coyotes are 20-4 overall this season and 3-4 within conference play.  The Badgers were defeated by CSN 84-74 in Ephraim Jan. 18.  Thursday's matchup is slated for a 6:00 p.m. MST tipoff inside the Coyote Event Center.  For video streaming and live stat information, visit snowbadgers.com.
